Disappointed not to see the steep off-fist crack pitch in all its glory - for me, one of the most committing and serious pitches I ever climbed. Howard got the expanding flake, fortunately...

In reply to wbo2:  I'm very pleased YouTube selected this for me.. apologies for getting the naming wrong.  I was pretty surprised to see Chouinard on the boulder at the start.  Personally I liked a LOT about this - the climbing, the music, period commentary and the quality of filming.  

The fist crack looked a good lead

I do wonder if 'the algorithm' picked this as I'd recently seen, as well as climbing films, the late 60's film series 'Road Dreams'?
