Hi all, 

We're staying less than 1km from Strone Crag Strone Crag and even though we have bigger objectives for the week, it would be nice to climb here for an hour or so.

Has anyone got more info other than what is on the crag page? Dare I say a topo photo someone could send me? Even a couple of route descriptions?

I was there last October and it's pretty underwhelming, broken, vegetated and dirty. If you really wanted to go the one star severe is the obvious, fairly central groove from the toe of the buttress and has the cleanest rock.

Better options are bouldering at Achmelvich beach or Split Rock which is quite atmospheric.

Thanks Dave, have been bouldering at Achmelvich before and enjoyed it! Strone looks good from afar, but standing below looks a bit scruffy I agree.
