Heading to a place near Monmouth this coming weekend. Looking for somwhere to go for a boulder. Any recommendations?

I think you're on a loser. Biblins is out till May, a lot of the forest boulders are sandstone, so not good when wet and most stuff is in the trees, not great for drying. Huntshams is "officially" banned and it's hunting season! The only positive I can vaguely think of is bouldering around the lower tier of  Wyndcliff Quarry. It faces east and it's a short drive from Monmouth.

Sorry to pessimistic.

How about the stone viaduct near the iron bridge. We  messed about there when  we were kids. Close to the a466 south.

Quite a few dry-year-round caves along the base of Symonds Yat.

The Problems area at Wintours is nothing special but handy access and very quick drying.
