Hells Bells Accident jubilee weekend

I'd like to thank the couple that called 999 for me on Friday at Millstone after I fell off Hells Bells and the only bit of gear I had in ripped. Sorry you didn't get to do the route, it was pretty good fun until I fell off it.

I'll recover thanks to James from EMICS,  Edale MR and Chesterfield Royal Hospital and was very lucky to get away with just a broken wrist and T12 and some muscle damage.

In case it makes you feel better, my comment on this route 29 years ago was that IMO the route was worth VS. Hope you recover quickly and get back on the rock soon.

Very considerate of you having the accident as close to the road as possible 😁 - hope you get well and back on the rock as soon as possible.

Years ago, the track was still in good enough nick (and no blocking boulders) that the ambulance would have just driven up there.
