/ Dry rock?!
Anyone know of anything dry with all this rain for sunday this weekend? Trad sport or bouldering... England/wales within say 3 hours hereford...
I'd expect a fair bit of peak lime bouldering to be dry.
Which crags do you reckon be worth visit. Not bouldered peak lime before only bit on the grit
Rubicon and Raven Tor are the big contenders.
Most peak grit edges should be ok tomorrow, it's not rained since early afternoon Fridayy and forecast ok for tmrw.
He's asked for Sunday when it's raining all day.
Like Cake recommended The Tor, Rubicon, Blackwell Dale and Stoney all have bouldering that stay dry in the rain. Going to be honest you're going to want to be bouldering in the 7's to make the most of it though.
If you want esoterica: there’s a bypass bridge outside bewdley ( just north of Worcester), probably about an hour from Hereford. Sandstone but good quality, very techy wall climbing, will definitely be dry. Loads of up problems around 6A-6B, traverses probably around 7b. Might be a good day for it if everywhere else is iffy and a long way away. I’ll email you directions if you’re interested.
Cheers everyone got some options
During summer 2019, more than 200 ascents of Corbetts were made by around 70 volunteers in aid of hillwalkers' charity Mountain Aid.
