I climbed here a lot in the 1970's and 80's. It was a wonderful crag with real atmosphere. The main climbs were excellent too. Now looking at the UKC entry it seems a place to be avoided! What has happened? Has anyone been there lately?

Went there last week, 36 yrs since I last climbed there! at low tide on a sunny morning, faces south and was really quite warm the climbs are as good as I remembered but there was some loose rock and lots of seagull shit, which you'd expect. Interesting "Don't Fall Off" belays at the top

Had a great day

Get an online topo from nmc website and have fun.

It's a kittiwake colony I reckon. Not bothered checking the main crags, but the chossy limestonebit to the S certainly is. Ok for a couple of winter months after the storms have  cleaned  it a bit and before the birds arrive. But really only for a nostalgic  trip I'd  have thought. Nice spot mind.
