Climbing partner chesterfield area

 looking to get back into climbing after a significant amount of years out

had a knee injury that buggered me

ive Moved to chesterfield and as yet I’ve only ever walked along stanage 

is anyone free on Sunday that would like to buddy up

i havent climbed in years, 

I still have a rack and rope however they’ve not seen the light of day in the length of time i ain’t climbed (5 plus years )

at one point I was climbing to fairly decent  level however those days are a distant memory 

im happy to belay and be dragged up anything 

probably wouldn’t fancy leading much above

I really just want to get on some rock again 

as ive missed it

A bunch of volunteers (full disclosure - me included) have been working with the BMC to develop a campaign to help people find a welcoming local club.

There are quite a few Peak-based Clubs - I'm a member of the The Rucksack Club which has numerous members in your patch and is "signed up" to #FindYourAdventure

We get out locally every Wednesday evening (as well as further afield every weekend) if you fancy coming along. This week we're at Lawrencefield. Message me if you are tempted.

i don’t work set hours so some days I’m in chesterfield for 1/2pm others it’s 5/6 

so if your ok with last Minute stuff mid week then I’d be up for that

to stanage for example in about 40 mins

No worries - it wasn't the worst evening to miss, with a bit of drizzle and the occasional midge, though we still climbed until dark and managed to get a team up Billy Wizz
