Castleberg Crag
Settle Town Council have just informed me that work is due to start in the next couple of weeks to remove several large trees from around and above the crag. This will include removal of some vegetation from the crag face and further landscape work on the approach paths. The work is due to be completed by the end of October.
The exact start date is not yet known for certain but climbers are asked to avoid the area once contractors are present until after completion.
