I've been looking though my 'over the moors' guidebook (and what a book it is) and I came across Blackshaw quarry near Glossop.

Anyone visited, climbed there ?

Any advice, info ?

From the discripition looks to be steap, sustained routes with easy access.

I've been there a few times. The routes are short and steep and pack a punch - you need to get your gear in quick! It's likely that the routes might need a bit of a clean as ferns take over quickly and people don't often climb there.

If you fancy a trip there over Christmas, drop me a line and I'll hold your ropes.

I’ve been once and soloed The Best Bit of Rock in Glossop (VS 4c) which made the visit worthwhile. Would have liked to have stayed and explored a bit more but there were two very fresh dead sheep in the pit just to the left and they stank so I beat a hasty retreat.
