For those of you who have looked at Bearse Quarry and seen it gopping, I can give you the good news that it is bone dry! Some fun and fierce routes in the F7a+-F7c+. Will improve with traffic but pretty good already.

To park at Bearse Farm there is a little bit in the right corner for a few cars. Then walk downhill about 60 metres, cross the road and go into the trees about 10 metres left of the first driveway you come to and down the slope (no path to speak of).

And me, I was there also. It was Eric's suggestion, should I be worried?

Eric.

Good day, needed it under the circumstances.

Apparently St Briavels Castle is the most haunted place in Britain...

I've stayed there as a youth (YHA). Cycled to it from Malvern when I was 15 and stayed the night. Seem to remember the boys dorm was over the dungeon. Slept soundly I believe.

And likewise.

Huge apologies my boy! It was a weekday though. Interesting place and we got on a tough route. Some dusty bits, but dry. Ground was damp, so guess it takes a while to dry once wet. The routes left of us looked good.

Hope you lot are well, must try and get a weekend day for something.
