I am 22 years old, and really starting to enjoy my outdoor adventure. I have been to Scotland twice now with my mountaineering club, once to learn winter skills such as walking with crampons/ice axes, ice axe arresting, snow holing and other things. The other time to do some climbing, where I completed Good Friday Climb and Green Gully, these are two of my favourite experiences, the weather was stunning, the conditions were nothing short of perfect and instead of the horrible trudge down the zig-zags, we sat on our bums and slid down.

My main area is the Lakes where I normaly spend 2 out of every 4 weekends per month and I am fortunate enough that the more experienced members of the team are fantastic teachers and have brought my skills along no end.

I have now passed my Single Pitch Award Training and my Mountain Leader Training and I am now getting as much experience in the relevant areas in order to pass my assessments.

Love climbing Grit! :)

My interest in the outdoors was only increased last summer when I started to Kayak and have now obtained the hights of a 2** Paddler! Check me out. And then some. I have also recently learned how to Ski and can see me taking up that as another very expensive outdoor sport. I just can't help myself, I love it.

Im also starting to learn about Photography so check out some of my snaps - when I have time to upload them!

Just starting, I have a Lumix G1 and find it perfect for my outdoor adventures. Its small for a DSLR, comes with enough lenses and has great stabalisation for those more scary moments on the crag.

Sunset from Refuge Estagnous, Mont Valier. Carried my SLR on the 80Km Freedom Trail and these views alone were worth it.
