I started climbing in the 70's, then after about 10 years did very little for many years as job and family took over. Got back in to it when my son took an interest.
It will always be primarily an outside activity for me, and about the locations it takes me to. I prefer long mountain routes over shorter crags. I do climb indoors too but it is just to keep my hand in, and hopefully to improve a bit but it is not primarily about the grades for me, its the enjoyment, the friends and the locations.
I have put in my log book the climbs I can remember, but there are many missing. I'll keep it up to date from now on though.
