Based in Bulgaria Walltopia are the world's leading supplier of climbing walls, as well as related 'active entertainment' products such as Fun Walls, caving systems, ropes courses and Rollglider.
The last few years have been extremely successful for Walltopia in the UK, with many significant projects and very good growth of market share. We are now looking for a part time assistant to the UK Sales Agent.
Applicants can be based anywhere in the UK and work will initially involve approx 3 days per week mainly at home, but with occasional need for travel to site visits and meetings around the UK. Very flexible working hours are required and this is unlikely to suit somebody with another job with fixed hours.
This is currently a very exciting time in the climbing wall industry and this is a great opportunity to play an interesting and very rewarding role. This will involve both helping new wall owners through the complex process of setting up their first centre alongside working with existing wall operators wanting to expand.
Suitable candidates for the post will:
- Be passionate about climbing and climbing walls - Have a very good knowledge and understanding of the UK climbing wall market and current trends - Be self motivated and capable of working without direct supervision - Be well organised with good project management skills - Have an excellent standard of written and verbal communication - Be prepared to use their own vehicle to attend meetings - Have Sketchup 3d modelling skills (or be prepared to learn quickly!) - Be very persistent!
Other useful attributes:
- Previous sales experience - Knowledge of climbing wall construction - Knowledge of climbing wall operation - Experience with negotiating sales contracts
Remuneration will be dependant on experience but will most likely be a fixed fee of £20-25 per hour plus a performance based percentage of profits.
