The mountains are coming to London! The London Mountain Film Festival is the first and only resident Mountain Film Festival in London, which launches this year on 2-3 May 2020 at the Royal Geographical Society and will feature a number of awesome UK premieres.

We're thrilled to announce that the London Mountain Film Festival will be hosting the UK PREMIERE of PRETTY STRONG by Never Not Collective! This highly anticipated film will be shown during Session 5 on Sunday 3rd May. TICKETS ARE LIMITED, get yours now to avoid disappointment...

We also have other exciting premieres that we can't wait to announce, as well as the full film shortlist to be released at the beginning of April. In addition to these incredible and inspiring films, there are many speakers sharing their stories through a mix of interviews and presentations:

  • From the climbing world, guests include Paul Pritchard, Doug Scott, Mick Fowler and Chris Bonington, with Hazel Findlay and Pete Whittaker meeting up for a special double interview on Sunday.
  • For endurance athletes and adventurers, Anna McNuff, Sean Conway and Steve Birkinshaw are all making an appearance, with Virgin Radio’s very own Vassos Alexander hosting proceedings on the Saturday night.
  • We’ll also have exciting exhibitions and stalls, book signings, festival food and drink, and plenty of attractions for visitors to engage with.

You can dip in for a four-hour visiting session and see a selection of speakers and films – or, you can opt for a full day or weekend pass. Although Greater London has been a competitive hotbed for touring Festivals over the years, London now has a festival to call its own - and we can't wait to welcome you.

Sign up for updates, see our full speaker line-up, watch film trailers and get your tickets on the Festival website. But don't wait to book, as spaces are LIMITED.
