Team Member / Instructor
The Nest Climbing is an independent bouldering centre in Hayes, West London. We are looking for a lively and enthusiastic front of house staff member / instructor to join our small yet expanding team. The primary aim of the role will be to cover front of house responsibilities, but there will also be the opportunity to gain experience in multiple areas of the business. Primarily this will include assisting in the expansion of our coached climbing sessions. As such prior instructing experience and qualifications are desirable for this position, along with industry experience.
Duties include:
- Working in reception/shop greeting customers and taking payments
- Taking phone calls and making bookings
- Delivering climbing sessions to a variety of groups of all ages and abilities, including: adults, children, beginners, coaching, birthdays/groups and, school holiday activities
The right candidate will have:
- Relevant industry knowledge and a passion for climbing
- Weekend and evening availability
- Experience within the climbing industry
- Instructing qualifications - CWA/CWI or equivalent
Desired skills/experience (but not essential):
- Knowledge of Rock Gym Pro
- Coaching Experience (Foundation/Development Coach)

- 8 hrs contracted work a week at £9-£10 per hour (depending on experience)
