As part of the commemoration of the 175th anniversary of Sheffield Institute of Arts, we are proud to host Jim Herrington in Sheffield on Monday 16th April 7.30p.m. Entrance is free. Books will be available for purchase on the night (RRP £40). The location is Adsetts Lecture Theatre on Arundel Gate (opposite the Crucible Theatre)

Come and hear Jim talk about his20 year long quest to assemble this illuminating collection of images, a document of Alpine climbing history. Jim Herrington is as famous for his images of rock stars of a different oeuvre, from the Rolling Stones to Dolly Parton as he is for this incredible book.
