This is a key role within Substation Brixton, ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service are maintained throughout the centre. The Duty Manager will work closely with our Management and Supervisors, supporting our team and ensuring the smooth running of the centre. The Duty Manager is responsible for dealing with customers; opening and closing the site, including cashing up; ensuring all start-up and close down operations are completed and providing regular updates to the Operation and General Managers. You will also be responsible for carrying out retail stock takes, overseeing the cleaning rota, delivering training to staff and handling takings.
The Person The successful individual will need to be self-motivated and confident leading a team, with experience of working within the leisure and hospitality industry. A dynamic individual who is pro-active and solution-orientated, taking ownership of the role with experience of and a practical understanding of Health and Safety legislation, specifically within sports facility management. This is a great role for someone looking to develop in this industry who is already working within a similar or relevant role.
