Plas y Brenin and the James Brownhill Memorial Fund are pleased to be able to offer this heavily subsidised five day Scottish Winter Mountaineering course. Open to full-time students aged 18 and over, the course is aimed at young, keen mountain walkers who would like to be able to undertake challenging winter walks and simple climbs. You will be guided through the correct use of ice axe and crampons, winter navigation, avalanche risk assessment and a host of other topics, all incorporated into mountain journeys.
