White Spider are looking for enthusiastic, flexible people to work in our Front of House Team and Marketing Department. Find out more about the Job roles and their details below.

Front of House Team Members

You will be providing customer service and advice at reception and in the café; and dealing with retail, kit hire, and the general running of the centre during opening hours.

If you:       

  • are a keen climber
  • are available on evenings and weekends
  • have excellent customer service skills
  • can be pro-active, and work well as part of a team
  • are able to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and health & safety are maintained
  • have experience cash handling or working with food
  • can manage a busy workload and keep smiling
  • are aged 18 or over
  • This role will also come with full training so no previous experience is required, although will be desirable.

Junior Marketing Executive

Spider Climbing group are a fast growing group of indoor climbing walls with a strong reputation and brand. We are looking for a junior Marketing Executive to help continue to strengthen our brand, while developing marketing opportunities for existing and new customer bases.

This will include a variety of work from E-Marketing, production of creative promotional materials and website SEO.

The position will be based at White Spider in Surbiton 3 Days a week, circa 24 hours a week. A majority of hours will need to be done in Normal office times (between 09:00 and 19:00), however we are a highly flexible work place and are able to offer the work on days/times of the successful candidates choosing.

Qualifications, Skills and previous experience

  • Marketing related qualification
  • Previous appointments in Marketing sector are desirable
  • Use of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly, In-Design, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of WordPress back end for creation of Blogs and development of page content
  • Creation of email marketing campaigns
  • Enjoy working in a team whilst having high personal responsibility
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Pro-active self starter with strong initiative
  • A keen and active climber, new climbers welcome!

Pay and Benefits

  • £17,500 – £19,500 FTE based on 40 hours a week
