Mountainfilm is America’s most prestigious mountain film festival and takes place in Telluride, Colorado each May. This documentary film festival showcases non-fiction stories about environment, cultural, climbing, political and social justice issues that matter. Along with exceptional documentaries, the festival goes beyond the film medium by bringing together world-class athletes, change makers and visionary artists for a multi-dimensional celebration of indomitable spirit. The festival aims to aims to inspire audiences to action on worthy causes - but we invite you to just sit back and be entertained.
Films: * Life of Pie * The Mystery of Now * Dawa * The Movement * Jagrlama * All In: Alaska Heli Skiing * Sweetheart Dancers * March of the Newts * Ice and Palms * Danny Daycare * As in previous years the films will be introduced by Ben Ayers, the dZi Foundation’s Executive Director and a National Geographic film-maker in his own right.
Programme: 7:00 – 10:00 pm. Exhibition Road doors open at 6:00 pm. Cash bar in the Map Room before the programme and during the interval. The evening will include a Raffle - great prizes.
