Edinburgh International Climbing Arena is one of Edinburgh Leisure’s flagship facilities. The venue manager is an important and high-profile role both internally within Edinburgh Leisure and externally with the City of Edinburgh Council and the local, national and international climbing community. So, as you would expect, we are seeking a person of the highest personal and professional standards to fill it.
We need you to provide inspirational leadership to the staff at the venue enabling them to deliver a great service to our customers. You will need to achieve the venue’s KPI’s particularly our income and usage targets, deliver international events and continue to develop and improve all aspects of the facility, including the fitness, soft play and café.
Naturally, you have bags of experience of working in the sport, leisure or adventure industry and given the nature of the post, a knowledge and understanding of climbing and bouldering would be desirable but is not essential.
