Learning and Adventure Manager
Salary: £24,614 - £35,328 per annum, plus benefits
Starting salary is dependent on qualifications & experience


Hours: Full time, permanent position - average 43 hours per week
Location: Aberdovey & Ogwen, Wales


The Outward Bound Trust is an educational charity providing adventure-based, outdoor learning for young people from six residential centres across the UK.

Due to the growth of the Aberdovey Centre and the re-launch of Ogwen Cottage as an Outward Bound® centre in partnership with The National Trust, we are looking for a highly motivated person who will join our senior team that lead the development of learning and adventure.

Responsible for a group of instructors, the post holder will ensure high quality, safe courses by coaching, sharing good practice and adding value to delivery. The primary purpose of the role is to support our committed instructors in raising the impact they have on young people through their Outward Bound course. The post holder will be a member of the Centre Management Team and will contribute to the overall strategic and operational performance of the centres. This role will entail spending a large proportion of time in the outdoors working from both Aberdovey and Ogwen, and will involve time away from home.
