Are you passionate about climbing?  Do you want to further your experience in a fast-paced customer-focused climbing centre? Are you focused and hard working?

We are currently looking for an experienced Climbing Instructor to join our fantastic team here at The Climbing Lab. 

The role will include : leading a range of sessions, including NIBAS classes, coaching, Adult Intros to bouldering, as well as children’s Birthday parties and taster sessions.

In addition to instructing, the position will entail all duties required for the effective running of the centre including friendly service to customers, requiring an attention to detail when checking basic entry requirements and paperwork, as well as making coffee and serving snacks. 

The Climbing Lab is a busy centre in the heart of Leeds focused on developing a lifelong love of climbing and a passion to bring people together in our inclusive centre.

Person Specification

Essential :

- 1 year climbing experience

- Coaching experience

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to cope well under pressure

- Attention to detail

- Friendly and approachable team player

Desirable :

- NGB Qualification

- Knowledge of NIBAS

- Previous climbing wall work experience 

- Current First Aid Certificate
