Emergency skills with Rachael Crewesmith: Wednesday 27 April @ 8pm-9pm on zoom
This session focuses on what to do when things don’t go quite to plan. From getting lost to minor mishaps, Rachael will share top tips on what to do. Rachael will also cover how and when to call Mountain Rescue.
Navigation with Steve Trenier: Wednesday 4 May @ 1pm-2pm on zoom
This session focuses on the art of navigation. Steve will guide you through using maps and understanding their scales, and cover fundamental navigation tips so that you can stride out into the hills with confidence.
Caring for the environment with Cath Flitcroft & Rob Dyer: Wednesday 11 May @ 1pm-2pm on zoom
This session focuses on how to respect and care for the wild places we love. Cath and Rob will cover wild camping, how to poo like a pro, the countryside code, footpaths, dogs and more.
Multi-day hiking with Sharon Kennedy: Thursday 19 May @ 8pm on zoom
This session focuses on what you need to know to enjoy multi-day hiking adventures. Sharon will cover planning, top tips for travelling light, first time multi-day hikes and what to pack.
Lorraine McCall began her attempt today at a continuous, self-powered round of the Grahams, a four-month tour of upland Scotland combining walking and bikepacking. If successful, she'll be the first person that we know of to do it.
