Centre Manager

Full time role. Salary Negotiable.

Location: Keswick, Lake District.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Kong Adventure: We’re looking for a new Centre Manager to helm the development of our exciting and unique adventure centre!

Kong Adventure Keswick is the climbing wall owned and operated by King Kong Climbing Walls, the UK’s largest and oldest independently owned Climbing wall manufacturer. With over 30 years of climbing wall experience to our name, we’ve constructed walls all over the world, and set the standard for the modern climbing gym of today. The Centre represents the most modern wall design, cutting-edge facilities and reflects the future of commercial climbing wall development.

This is no ordinary climbing wall though! Kong adventure also operates a multitude of outdoor activities as well as an extensive indoor climbing-based activity roster. We have an on-site café, Escape Room and we’ve our own specialist off-road running retailer, all under one roof!

As Centre Manager, you’d be expected to take ultimate control of this building, and everything in it. You’d be given creative freedom to develop the centre with your own vision and grow the business with your drive.

As well as strategizing for the future, you’d be needed to oversee the day to day running of the centre, and ensure all resources are optimised to maximise profitability, and productivity whilst not sacrificing the friendly customer focused atmosphere that we’ve become well known for.

You’ll be joining a small, highly motivated team, and will work closely alongside the M.D. using Centre resources to back up the manufacturing and shop arms of our business where necessary.

The Ideal candidate must be versatile, must hold a U.K. driving licence and most importantly have a strong and active interest in climbing.

To apply please send a covering letter and C.V. to paul@climbingwall.co.uk. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
