The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is returning to the Dorset this week, bringing a night of exhilarating adventure films to the Lighthouse Theatre in Poole on Thursday 7 March!

Join French sport climber turned mountaineer Liv Sansoz as she attempts to climb all of the 4,000m peaks in the Alps in a single year; meet Nepal’s fastest downhill mountain biker Rajesh ‘RJ’ Magar, who built his first race bike from scrap metal from a local junkyard; and witness Australian adventurer Mike Atkinson’s extraordinary survival expedition – using only antique equipment – in 'Surviving the Outback'.

As well as inspirational films for Banff's 10th anniversary tour, the evening will also see a free prize draw for outdoor swag from the tour’s partners, including Osprey, Rab, Keen and Buff.

Tickets have fully sold out for Wednesday’s screening in Christchurch, but there are still tickets available for Poole on Thursday – see www.banff-uk.com/tickets.

The tour then returns to Dorset in April, with back-to-back screenings at Wimborne Minster’s Tivoli Theatre on 9-10 April (different film programme at each). Other nearby shows include Salisbury (5 March and 4 April) and Portsmouth (2 April).
