Care to share what you consider to be the best single image you've taken this year?

It can be of any subject you wish.

I'm embarrassed to say that its been a bit of a fallow year for me and there isn't anything that I have taken that is "Stand out".  I have taken lots of snaps and they have sentimental happy memories which are good for me.  But as for this OP, nothing good enough.

I did get this one blown up to a meter wide and framed it, but its more sentimental though.

From local trips, a couple of Newark Priory. The second one took a lot of setting up, lining up, waiting for the water to be still, timing the shutter release etc, and is one of the extremely rare times I actually left home with a specific image in my head.

Hmm, I dont have any photo's to show...

A quick flick through your gallery shows it to be quite voluminous and not too shabby though.

There is a Biking and Landscape category so they could well win Best UKC picture of the year and feature no hills

Heck, there's even an Indoor Wall category, hadn't realised that! Oh dear.

The Lemming is asking for UKc forum posters to show the best pictures they've taken this year, he doesn't say it has to be a climbing photo. That seems obvious from the thread title and his OP.
