Tabletop type tripod options

I'm after a tripod base that will hold just under 2kg. It's proposed use will hold a short pole about 40cm long with a rotating dslr camera on top.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

I used to use one of these manfrotto tabletop bases with a short extension tube and ball head. It was fine with a DSLR and small lenses but the ball head I got with it was hopeless with longer ones.

I mislaid the extension tube but still have the base & head around somewhere. You can have them if you want.
