Looking for something decent (but not very expensive) for cycling / climbing etc 

Currently have a Panasonic dmc ft30 but am quite disappointed with image quality even on bright days, low light is really poor.

Have you tried your phone?

I have an olympus tg 4 - it's tough and a decent camera and works underwater but it's a bit too heavy and requires a funny cable to recharge so end up using my phone... I'd use it more if it took a standard usb recharge cable (I think I saw the cable the other day - must remember where...)

Yes and sadly both my current and previous phones have been poor cameras, plus they're not ideal to use on the go / with dirty hands or gloves
