Anyone recently used software they would recommend to recover raw files accidentally deleted from an SD card? Using a Mac, and raw files are ORF if it makes a difference.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions that are worth considering.

Disk Drill has worked wonders for me.

I've used photorec before on windows with good results. They do a mac version too which I haven't tried.

I had a card fail mid-download onto my PC recently. Windows showed a lot of space used, but no files.  Windows device manager or drive details (can't remember which) said there was a problem and running the fix wizard found all the 'file fragments' OK by the look of things, but filenames are gone.  Essentially the FAT was corrupted.

Thanks for the two recommendation which I’ll check out.

To Toerag: I wish I could say it was corruption. Embarrassingly, just human error, and being the way I was viewing them there was no protection or recovery from deletion.
