Anybody got a Panasonic GH5 or a new Panasonic?

I am now the proud owner of a GH5 but I have some serious woes.

Seems like my ageing version of Lightroom 5.7 does not support the RW2 files that my camera creates.

I have no desire to pay monthly for using Adobe software. I am willing to pay a one off licence fee, but I am not being bled dry for something that I use a few times a month. From a quick search it seems that the RW2 files are supported in versions 6.9 and above.

I'd appreciate help or advice from Panasonic users who can get their RW2 files to open in photo editing software.

I have a work around of converting to DGN files, but why should I go through this faff?

DNG converter and add it to your workflow (I do it now). 
 

or have a go at the free/cheaper LR alternatives.
