I am staying in a winter room with a group on a ski touring trip at the beginning of Feb.

I have only dossed in one for a night huddled in a sleeping bag but this time we will be in the same one for about 5 days.

Based on limited info from t'internet the hut looks pretty well stocked, blankets, wood, decent sitting and sleeping area. It's also relatively easy to get to from a lift area so we can carry lots in.

Looking forward to it, but any top tips on what to take to turn this into a luxurious experience!?

I'm the kind who can over plan, but I'd take a warm sleeping bag anyway.

A handful of candles.

A pack of playing cards.

A bottle of malt whisky.

A good size lump of comte or some other mountain cheese and plain crackers.

If there's any doubt on the blankets being there, take a basic sleeping mat as those hut mattresses are worthy heat sinks during winter.
