Any recommendations? Southside Glasgow. Got a crack after driving bsck from Bridge of Orchy

Check your car insurance! Mine covered a complete windscreen replacement with a £75 excess after some neds danced on it. A repair would have been zero excess. Had to use their nominated repairman (autoglass) though. Who weren't great.

Also check if your insurance will let you use your own choice of fitter. My insurance company's choice ( some national firm) did a shit job in my car, twice, so now I insist on using a local firm that know what they're doing.

My insurer sent National Windscreens out from Glasgow last week. Did a fantastic job - didn't damage any paintwork, cleaned up well and put all the trim back where it came from. Can't ask for any better than that.  £85 excess and no effect on my no-claims for a job that would have cost around £350 at a land rover garage.
