Mars and Jupiter are well placed for viewing too.
About 7:30 - 8:00pm, Jupiter is in the SW; bright and white and Mars is about due south, high up and noticeably reddish in colour.
Jupiter is worth having a look at through binoculars. It is unlikely you'll see any detail on the planet, though it will appears as an obvious disc(rather than a dot, as stars will look) but one or more of the largest four moons should be visible.
