Sport climbing, where to watch?

Is it even possible to watch the Olympics sport climbing without having Eurosport?

I know that there's this article from the BMC https://www.thebmc.co.uk/how-to-watch-climbing-in-the-olympics

But I've just been going round in circles on the BBC website trying to establish if it's actually on later today (9am) or not? Slowly losing my mind and patience, I'm going to end up watching clips of the horse dancing on a loop.

Does anyone have an actual link to where it is being streamed?

Think the BBC are only allowed to stream 2 things live at once so may not show it as other things with better chances of GB medals are on at the same time. Discussion over streaming options can be found here:

Discovery plus has full coverage and catch up. It’s now a free add on if you have sky Q

You probably need to pay a bit to get a live stream.

Some suggestions here - https://www.ukhillwalking.com/forums/ukc/live_rolling_tokyo_2020_updates_page_...

You can take out a monthly subscription to Discovery Plus for about £7, and I think you can cancel within 3 days, so you could see most of the climbing for free.

Another option - 6 months of Discovery+ free if you're a Vodaphone user.

Just don't forget to cancel before the 6 months is up.

Thanks all. I'm going to break out of my equestrian rut and look at these paid options/see if I have a mate with access to Discovery.

In reply to OneBeardedWalker:

It's on ZDF in Germany.  We watch it with a VPN.

Thanks all, ended up getting a Eurosport pass. Commentary is absolutely pants isn't it?

Eurosport is included with amazon prime. So you can make a new email addresss, sign up for 30 days free trial of amazon prime, and watch it all for free.

As far as I can tell you can't watch replays though, only the live broadcast, as it has to be done through amazon's website, not the actual eurosport player. (please someone correct me if I'm wrong)

I was wrong, you can watch replays too, just took a while to find exactly where

I would also advise anyone who gets the Eurosport package to mute the commentary and listen to the EpicTV commentary on Youtube instead. They are a bit silly but at least they know what they are talking about

I’m watching the replay through Prime right now. Using the Xbox app.
