 Bottom Clinger 25 Aug 2021

Few minutes ago. Also great views of a kestrel and female roe deer. Loads young goldfinch feeding on thistles and swallows fattening up. Cracking morning.

No.  She climbs too quickly for my lens.  

Kestrel earlier.  It had no idea I was sneaking up.  One second after the photo if dove into a bush, missed its target, came back to its perch and then saw my ugly face and flew off.

Those caterpillars are fantastic. Fond of willow herb, not seen one in a while.

Yes . With my extensive knowledge of wildlife I can confirm that is a spider.

Saw one of those huge caterpillars about three weeks ago.

Looks like a garden spider.
