Runners - it's 2 METRES, not 2 inches!

Out for a walk with the kids round the block and had a group of 3 runners practically elbow their way past us because they couldn't wait for a car to go past.

Saw several yesterday doing exactly the same to some other pedestrians past a line of parked cars.

And not to mention the one that nearly knocked me off my bike when he ran straight into the road to avoid the same group of pedestrians - fortunately, I had enough warning to avoid him and cross right over the other side of the road.

Ahh you obviously didn't get the memo about runners being more important than families out for a walk.

We went for a walk down the canal a few weeks ago and had the same problem with some runners and some cyclists.

The majority in both cases were fine and friendly but the runner that elbows past or the cyclist who comes up behind you at speed with no warning and nearly runs over your dog is always the one that sticks in your mind.
