Can anyone recommend a country pub for good lunchtime food please? I’m meeting a mate: he’ll be driving up the M40 and I’ll be driving down the M1, so somewhere roughly in the Coventry / Rugby / Leamington area would be good. Ideally somewhere with a garden but without a bouncy castle. I prefer a really good homemade pie with chips to jus or Jenga fries.

Hopefully not as the result of some current court restraining order/prohibition that you'd rather leave behind you.
