Does anybody know of any decent recipes for ratafia biscuits, which equal that of the nice Italian biscuits sold by the Italian company Doria?

Waitrose, ebay. Amazon and other places are only selling their amaretti biscuits at the mo, which just won't do for D family Boxing Day trifle, the biscuits need that almond niceness.

I'd found that one too, I was wondering if there were any personal experience recommendations, but I guess experimenting is order anyway, to get the result I want.
