Yes I know nothing will probably come of it but sign and pass on if it appeals

Agree, not likely to do much, but I signed anyway. Worth a try

In reply to KriszLukash:

Fine. If at any stage in the future people did suffer for standing up to a corrupt government, then these people will have become such comtemptable dictators that I will gladly go down for standing against them. If it gets to that stage, I'd rather that than being complicit by my silence.

I'd take that as a sign of being on the side of right

Signed as well. Think it will need to be well into the millions to make a difference, but think that isn’t impossible.

Sign it! If this gets 10million people it's just another little nail to hammer into the coffin. All the nails help!

Both Cummings and Boris are on The Right, does that count as being on the side of right?

I signed and fear it's pointless but at least it helps demonstrate that the fury is real and not just a furore in a Westminster bubble.

In reply to Blunderbuss:

I emailed my Tory MP yesterday in a fit of fury. If enough of the backbenchers get nervous that the masses are revolting they're likely to have more clout than a petiton.

Worth a shout if you live in a Tory area - whether you voted for them or not.

Over 600,000 now. About doubled since I voted earlier.

Fairly sure similar petitions have failed to be accepted as they can't demand someone loses their job. I did sign it anyway though

 dread-i 26 May 2020
In reply to Blunderbuss:

Signed.

The petition may not get him sacked, but it will end the myth that he is somehow tuned into the voice of the people. The tory grandee's will see that he is a lying, unelected weasel, hated by the people. Perfect for a nice job in the Lords.

Getting close to a million now, sadly not sure what good it will do though...
