Gutted. I loved Buzzcocks from Spiral Scratch onwards, loved their music, their cover art, their lyrics, their dynamic live shows. Really innovative band, and if Ever Fallen In Love.... is all anyone's heard they're missing out on a lot of fantastic music. And Shelley's solo electronic work is often overlooked, he was a bit of a pioneer. Sad news, far too young.

Indeed, enjoying it at the moment, many memories...

I saw the Buzzcocks at that noted venue, Club Lafayette in Wolverhampton, and afterwards Pete S bought me a couple of beers and we talked, he was very friendly.. only afterwards realised he was gay and suspect he was chatting me up... what a wasted opportunity...

Boredom boredom...  I still have an original copy of Spiral Scratch somewhere.

He was just brilliant, and from Leigh (not Salford as they said earlier on 5 Live).  Got to stick up for my fellow Leythers...

Bollocks indeed. A great singer songwriter who was influential in the development of my teenage musical tastes. "The soundtrack to being a teenager"
