Merry Christmas UKC!

After a long year of political fallouts, name calling and very selective and blinkered URL provision; I would like to thank you all for a bizzare 365 days.

As ever, UKC has a strange hold on my life. It is the only 'Social Media' I use and the diverse mix of characters and humour here makes it wonderful. 

Also, sometimes there is outdoor stuff on here too. Which is nice.

UKC is also my only social meedya and yes, perhaps not as colourful as days of old but a collection of intelligence, humour and nut jobs!

When I was a kid I felt sorry for my uncles who just got socks.

Now I just think "nice present".

Particularly thinking of anyone who is away from friends and family, or who has someone missing this year.

And God but it's quiet out there, what a day it would be to jump on the bike, or go for a walk...but the veggies wont peel themselves!

A couple of days to rest tired muscles before getting back to that purple route I've nearly redpointed at the GCC.

Off to the beach shortly and got a horror (Us) on DVD to watch later. Anyone else do the 'Christmas horror' tradition?

parkrun 364 done, sun beating down but muddy, with 75% of the family and loads of friends. Got all day to sort out the dinner, things looking good...
