Splendid shots. I see them frequently when I visit a nature reserve at Westhay Moor on the Somerset levels, but they're usually too far off to grab a decent shot. Usually; a low-flying one had me more concerned about getting out of the way rather than taking its picture back in November.
This year's objective is to hear a Bittern calling. I'm guessing they'll be flying in around now.
