Not cool to like The Seekers I know........but what a voice!

Genuine musical legend and a ‘60’s icon.

Edit: Judith!

Agreed, loss of another great singer. As an aside, that's some crowd in the stadium, it looks enormous!

They did one gig where 200,000 showed up!

Kept the Stones off number one on at least one occasion.

I’m a big believer that there is room for ‘uncool’ In everyone’s life.

It's the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Holds about 100,000.

Yes, wonderful voice. Always yearned for her to do more edgy stuff (e.g. Jacques Brel). But she still gave so much pleasure to people.

Was in love with her when I was 13!

I grew up listening to the Seekers, my father loved them.  I was massively surprised to learn only a year ago that they were an Aussie band - I never knew !

Brings back memories of Junior School when Miss Miles would play Seekers songs (& other similar songs of the mid 60s) on her guitar for the class to sing along with.

That's really spoiled my day.   A voice never to be forgotten.  Really glad we got hold of a Seekers CD from a charity shop a bit ago, brought back a lot of memories from the days when they were always on TV

Part of my childhood  - my parents were huge fans. A great  jazz voice
