That's all really. Slated for static fire today with NOTAMs posted for Fri, Sat and Sun this weekend, so you might want to start keeping an eye on it again.

Thanks .

I'm subscribed to a lot of YouTube channels on the subject but haven't been following very closely recently.

Topically I downloaded the 3d models of the spacex prototypes yesterday to print out .  They look great.

I also brought a new 3d printer kit so now I've 2 of them.  I'm currently printing and building a supernova parkjet.

think I've figuerd out most of the gobbledegook. What's TWS?  In my field it's Tivoli Workstation. The only hits I get on google relate to True Wireless system earbuds.

My guess is The Wild Scallion. There was a previous thread about the launch.

TWS = The Wild Scallion = Chive Talkin

I'm usually posting on starship updates .

Although as I said past few days I've been out of the loop messing with my 3d printers and honing my skills.   Amazingly time consuming for someone like me who's a bit perfectionist and likes building and taking things apart.

Well how about Thanks Shallot. you might be running out of onions soon. But State of the Onion or Blondie's Onion city Blues could suffice.

Again brilliant.

I've clearly not given it enough thought and need to work on my punning ability.

These will all go in the book.

"Starship SN9 will attempt a flight test to approximately 12.5 kilometers. The test will be similar to the one conducted by Starship SN8. Following the launch, SN9 will attempt a propulsive landing on the Boca Chica landing pad.

Pad B, Boca Chica, Texas, USA

Fri Jan 08, 2021"

I'll be watching.

I missed it at the time with all the fuss on the news.  First static fire happened yesterday evening, next one due this evening (Texas time).

In reply to wintertree:

I was watching the static fire in two browser windows and the riot/coup in another two. It only lit up for about half a second.

Didn't think we were expecting any action tonight but looks like they've announced a road closure that wasn't planned yesterday 😬

Roll on the launch and belly flop this weekend.
