Let’s celebrate the asteroids!  Let’s share our love and stories. I don’t have any.

When it comes to asteroids, my opinion is divided between the classic '80 wire-frame-graphics arcade game, and the Phoenix Asteroids from the end of _Dark Star_ .

(actually I’m a fish)

(I’m clearly not a fish coz I’m typing this message which would be hard with fins and underwater)

In reply to Niall_H:

“The entire universe has been neatly divided into things to (a) mate with, (b) eat, (c) run away from, and (d) rocks.” ~ Terry Pratchett

Asteroids fits neatly into all four categories which is pretty cool

Have a google of 'panspermia' (life exists throughout the Universe, distributed by space dust, meteoroids, asteroids, comets, and planetoids, as well as by spacecraft carrying unintended contamination by microorganisms). Also they've grown Cress now. In Moondust.
