Bought some out of date black pudding slices yesterday then found it festering in the bottom of a bag in a warm(ish) room 24 hours later.

I've a fairly robust constitution and I'm sure it is chock full of preservatives, so shall I fry it up with some eggs and toast?

I'd go with a morning roll instead of toast.

Only got brioche rolls here which is some awful euro bullshit or some slightly stale but malty granary.

Ooh I wouldn't, black pud sprouts mould spots really quick in my experience 

Pre flight checks have come up clear. No mould and smells a bit rank, like black pudding should...

A day out if date wouldn't bother me, but 24hrs festering in a warm room would.  

Who can afford a warm room these days...?

FWIW, my gran used to defrost things on top of the gas fire including fish that clearly wasn't super fresh when frozen. She lived to 98.5 😀
