For some time now my UKC comes up on the screen in negative - white letters on a black background. I'm sure there's an easy way to change this but I don't know what it is. Can anyone help?

You couldn't possibly be as dumb as me e.g. technologically 

E.g. years ago I walked into a paper shop and asked for some colour printing paper (I didn't know about ink cartridges). There was a horrible long silence while the guy gave me a priceless puzzled look then slowly informed me there was no such thing.......

Did something similar in a pet shop when buying some 'presents' for a dog. "What are these marrow bone chews like", I asked. "They taste really nice", was her reply. Doh!!!

Also, true story here, once at a party I said the following about a man and a woman there.... "Oh wow, those two have the same family name". "Yes" came the reply after a long horrible pause, "They're married to each other"

Sometimes I do wonder about myself 

At a party, I once introduced myself to Tim.

'Nice to meet you, Tim!' I declared, shaking his hand.

I had been working with Tim for 3 years...

I'm even worse... At a school event a parent's name was called out and I said to my wife, "oh, there's someone here with your first name and my surname".

At the time she used her maiden name for everything apart from school stuff, so I wasn't used to hearing her married name.
