Hi all, I have rather stupidly bought (and set up) a new printer at home before realising it needs a USB connection, I didn't realise that they still made such things! We really need two of us to be able to print without messing around, swapping cables. Our previous wireless printer worked fine so assume we have a good wireless signal. Any advice please.

Many thanks.

Daft question; does your wifi router have a usb port on it?

If not there are a lot of wireless access points that support USB, TP-link certainly used to make quite that were pretty cheap a few although some weren't very user friendly (I had one that had Chinese firmware which made life interesting!)

I've just entered a world of pain on trying to set up my HP wifi printer on work laptop. It won't work (or even allow setup) when I'm connected to company VPN. Our IT team have said "just use a cable", which I don't possess as the year is 2020...

So, if you're going to be using a VPN, maybe just stick with using the cable...
