I’m looking to buy a climbing-related gift. Completely open to suggestions but with a nod towards the old school. A framed photo of Brown and/or Whillans climbing a classic, a signed print, or something similar. Any suggestions where I can start looking?

Sorry, can't help you with your quest but the photo that encapsulates the period for me  is Pete Crew on Erosion Direct, Carreg Wastad.

A few years ago I visited a book shop in Sedbergh devoted to climbing books and I think prints. A weak lead I know but...

Some years ago climbing jewellery was popular. Maybe you could find some on flea bay?

I don't know how it fits in with your budget or your tastes, but if you fancy a framed print perhaps it would be worth having a look at Tessa Lyons's work here: http://www.tessalyons.co.uk

An early copy of "Scrambles amongst the Alps" by Edward Whymper?

I recall some brilliant linework art of crags for sale at the Outside cafe, maybe someone knows more
